Challenge
Generate data that allows us to showcase knowledge of the regional payments market and conquer organic editorial spaces in the media to create awareness of Rapyd, a global Fintech-as-a-Service, with little time in LATAM.
Strategy
Conduct an online survey at the regional level in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, that provides insights related to Traditional Banks vs Neobanks, E-Commerce vs Social Commerce, and insights on the openness to adopt global payment trends.
From the results of a survey, several local and regional contents were produced for each market that helped reach different sectors of interest for Rapyd, achieving important publications and beginning to be on the mental map of regional payment fintechs for journalists.
Results
In a span of 2 months, we obtained +50 publications, achieving an Earned Media of +USD 60K, mostly in Tier 1 business and technology media. Publications were obtained in the main media outlets of each country, such as El Universal, Business Insider, El Economista, Forbes, Portafolio, La República, among others. Additionally, we generated bylines in Entrepreneur Magazine (Mexico), iProup (Argentina), and Diario La República (Colombia).
