Challenge
Generate awareness in Mexico about the unique experiences offered by Hotels.com, in this case anticipating the Rainbow Suite by Lisa Frank in L.A. that was going to be open for bookings.
Solution
In addition to a media outreach strategy, 2 celebrities who resonate with Lisa Frank (the creator of the Suite) were invited, and they were offered a complete experience of their stay in L.A. with the aim of having the promotion on their social media in exchange. Christian Chávez and Zoraida Gómez, former members of the iconic telenovela Rebelde, attended. Moreover, a commemorative robe of the Rainbow Suite was sent to some local influencers with the intention of increasing the number of impressions.
Results
Within 5 minutes of the bookings opening for this suite, not a single night was available.
Additionally, in one week we achieved over 3M impressions on social media through the posts and Instagram stories of 5 influencers and a commercial equivalence of over 40K USD. Furthermore, Christian Chávez was so delighted with the experience that he continued reminiscing about his moments in the Rainbow Suite throughout the year.
