Challenge

Positioning Raymundo Guerrero as a specialist and reference in the Mexican fintech industry, heading the Pomelo office (the Argentine fintech) in Mexico.  The strategy had to capture the attention not only of Tier 1 media specialized in fintech but also in finance, business, and economics.

Solution

We set out to reach different media within the sector, positioning Raymundo as an expert in the fintech landscape in Mexico: data, trends, market analysis. How did we do it? Through a strategic relationship plan, opinion columns, interviews, and exclusive content, to achieve a media positioning in a 1

Results

In 2 years of work, over 150 articles featuring Ray as a spokesperson were achieved, of which 90% were in Tier 1 media, accumulating an Earned media of over USD 300K. Raymundo has been practically in all Tier 1 media in Mexico including Expansión, El Universal, Forbes, Reforma, Bloomberg Línea, Milenio, El Economista, and Business Insider, among others, and was recognized by Forbes as one of the 30 under 30 in business in 2024, by Expansión as one of the 30 promises of 2024, in addition to securing an executive position within the Fintech Association of Mexico and soon being the specialized voice in fintech for the podcast Dinero en control.
