Challenge

Getting ahead of the competition and dominating the conversation, within a sea of information regarding one of the most important consumer events of the year: Buen Fin, so that the information that was picked up in the media was that of YouGov. 

Solution

12 weeks before Buen Fin the client was advised to lead the conversation by not only going out early but also with data showing the buying intentions of Mexicans for this date. This would allow brands to know the needs of their key audiences and act accordingly. In this way, YouGov got ahead and differentiated itself from the competition that tends to share its data after the date of Buen Fin and only show post-event results. 

Results

In one week, we obtained 29 publications in the most important media outlets in Mexico such as Excélsior, El País, Milenio, El Economista, Líderes Mexicanos, and Alto Nivel, with 65% of the publications being in Tier 1 media, achieving an earned media of +$830,000 mxn.
